2005 gto ls2 dbw harness

sorry if this is a repost of the same question that gets asked a million times. i have searched and havent found a clear answer. im really new to ls series engines and i am attempting to install one into my nissan 240sx. i have full harness, ecm, and throttle pedal. there is nothing on the harness for the pedal. what and where can i find the necessary parts to make a harness for the throttle pedal?

The APP connector comes off the Instrument Panel Harness & not the Powertrain Harness.

The Part No for the 10 way connector is given above. It's either a Yazaki or Tyco connector 7223-9730-30

Aftermarket conversion harnesses include the APP connector in the new Powertrain Harness (see item 17) below.

For a seperate APP harness you could try people like:
EFI Connection
Caspars Electronics
Speartech
Street & Performance
Ballenger Motorsports

thanks alot for that info. ive seen a ton of you post before and have printed what you have posted you sir have alot of useful information. i think im going to send my harness out and have it modifyed to a standalone harness with fuse and relay blocks along with the throttle pedal equipment that is needed. i cant think of the company but i think its one that you listed below. they quoted me 375 for what i need added to the harness which i think is a more than fair price.

whats odd though is i think the module on the pedal has 8 pins and not 10?

Painless is another place you could try.

It wouldn't be the first time GM docs didn't reflect reality.
It's either 6 wires in an 8 pin or a 10 pin plug.

Post up pics of what you've got.

i dont want to go with painless as they are expensive as all. ill post pics when i get home from the daily grind.

quick question if i were to build my own harness for the pedal and i wanted to add a ob2 port would all i need to do is use the wires for those two applications?

Yes.

Go to the link below and you'll find pics of aftermarket standalone harnesses for both manual and auto trans GTO LS2. Each connection is numbered and has a description.

Sorry I don't have any info on the Connector or Pinouts for the 8 pin APP.
GM docs for GTO (obviously wrong) only show a 10 cavity connector with 6 pins used.
[Corvette (05&06) and G8(08) docs both show a 6 cavity, 6 pin APP connector.]

would it be safe to assume that if the wires are the same colors in either connecter 8 or 10 that they would have the same attributes?

Yes thats a fair assumption to make.
Nothing else you can do really since the GM tech docs aren't correct.
